Best Man
Noah and I met in our freshman year of high school and have been inseparable since. You can frequently catch us cooking or grilling together with varying degrees of success while Noah tries to expand my appreciation for red wine. He and his wife, Ruthie who is one of Miranda's bridesmaids are a 10-minute walk from us in Philadelphia. There is no couple we would rather live closer to than these two!
Maid of Honor
Mackenzie and I met in my third year at UVA. We were quick friends through our shared background and interests and became even closer after studying abroad in Belgium and the Netherlands together. From grabbing frequent coffees, going to concerts, getting matching tattoos, and thrifting across multiple states and countries, she has quite literally seen me through sickness along the Amsterdam canals and health :)
Groomsman
Elias and I met in medical school where we became instant friends. Two things you should know about Elias: (1) he is brilliant and (2): he is impossible not to love. Elias has known Miranda since the time we started dating and we both consider him to be family. He is travelling to our wedding from Africa where he is doing international work for his pediatric residency!
Bridesmaid
Emily and I met during our first year of college, and though we got off to what some might call a rocky start, we have since become very close friends and confidants. Emily, my Wednesday nights are penciled in for the next lifetime for our weekly phone calls!
Groomsman
Zach is my older brother. Growing up, Zach and I were always close; watching movies, playing sports, and going to the beach. You can commonly find us talking on the phone arguing over what Zach's new favorite movie is (you can only have one!). I will always look forward to spending time with Zach and his wife Courtney in Asheville :)
Bridesmaid
I met Ruthie through Jess’ best man Noah. You can catch us biking together across Philly (if you’re fast enough to keep up, just kidding), painting Happy Hydrangea masterpieces, making cocktails, and waiting on the next season of the Golden Bachelor!
Groomsman
Matt (also known as 'Squid' due to his last name of 'Calamari') and I met in 6th grade and have been best friends since. Who would have guessed that our first social studies project would have turned into a 15-year friendship? Squid, may it forever be a fact, that whenever we are both in Port Washington we will always grab Salvatore's pizza!
Bridesmaid
Dory was my roommate for our second, third, and fourth years of college. She is a wonderful listener, support system, morale booster, and shoulder to cry on. Not to mention her phenomenal DJ skills, ability to de-ice planes, and her knowledge of headlines that somehow she shares before major news sources do!
Groomsman
Jake (who I more commonly call 'Siegs') grew up only a few houses from Noah. Even after years of being forced to watch clips of David Letterman (what our friend group called 'getting Letterman'ed'), he is one of the funniest, wittiest, and genuine people I have ever met. Jake, I will always save a three-car garage for you in my heart.
Bridesmaid
Rainy and I met through our SLP program at UVA. We became quick friends and our dating timelines followed closely together. We have had many boy chats throughout the years and are both excited to have seen each other through the dating, engagement, and wedding phases in our friendship!
Groomsman
Karan (who lived in the same neighborhood as Noah and Jake) and I first met in 9th grade. I know I did not make the best first impression but I am so glad that changed. In addition to introducing our friend group to new catchphrases, he is also the funniest and kindest friend you can ask for.
Bridesmaid
Kaitlynn and I became friends in grad school. We met through leading multiple clinic groups together, and even over Zoom had a great connection! We love chatting all things speech tea, big life events, and grabbing drinks/brunch in Baltimore and Philly!
Groomsman
Whenever I seek a philosophical debate or an in-depth analysis of a movie or TV show, I turn to Anton. We shared many classes in high school, bonding over our admiration for the best US history teacher (who remarkably resembled Jeff from "Curb Your Enthusiasm") and our mutual dislike for an SAT prep course. Throughout everything, Anton has been an incredible support system and someone I am always proud to call my friend.
