Things To Do

We're so excited to share our favorite Charlottesville spots with you! At the top, see locations to check out. More importantly, at the bottom, check out our favorite places to grab a bite to eat and coffee shops!

The Rotunda

1826 University Avenue, Charlottesville, VA 22904

You can't come to Charlottesville and not visit UVA with the neo-classical architecture of the Rotunda, the Lawn, and the gardens that surround Grounds.

Saunders-Monticello Trail

503 Thomas Jefferson Parkway, Charlottesville, VA 22902

If you're in the mood for a beautiful hike (or two) check out this trail and the one below it! This specific trail will lead you up a mountain (don't worry, it's paved and not too steep) up to Thomas Jefferson's home, Monticello.

Riverview Park

1909 Chesapeake Street, Charlottesville, VA 22902

Jess and I went on many a hike on the Rivana trail starting at this park. The trail runs along the Rivana river and is around ~4 miles in and out.

Bodo's Bagels

505 Preston Avenue, Charlottesville, VA 22903

A Charlottesville classic, it's as close to a New York bagel as you'll find in Virginia. Get up early enough and you might be able to secure the #1 ticket. #ifyouknowyouknow

Roots Natural Kitchen

1329 West Main Street, Charlottesville, VA 22903

Can this salad bowl locale change your life? Only one way to find out. Consider the El Jefe, The Southern, or the Pesto Caesar. You can thank us later.

Grit Coffee, Downtown

112 West Main Street, Charlottesville, VA 22902

Right on the downtown mall, this Grit location has excellent coffee, espresso, and breakfast/lunch items.
