When is the RSVP deadline?
Answer
We kindly ask that you RSVP before August 14. This deadline allows us to finalize headcount with our vendors and complete our seating arrangements. If we don't hear from you by this date, we'll assume you're unable to attend.

What should I do if I cannot make it?
Answer
If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate "Will NOT Attend" on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly for food/beverage and seating. If you have already RSVP'd "Will Attend", but find you will not be able to make it, please notify Miranda as soon as you are aware.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
We are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation sent in the mail. If you received a plus one, then they will be listed when you RSVP.

Are children invited?
Answer
The RSVP portion of this website will include the names of the children who are invited. As much as we love your little ones, we are opting to have an adult-only wedding, aside from a few family members.

Parking
Answer
The ceremony and reception will be held at the same location. There is ample parking at the venue location. The venue allows cars to be parked overnight and picked up the next day.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will start promptly at 3:30 pm. We ask that everyone arrive by 3:15 pm to ensure we start on time. I hope not to run into you while walking down the aisle! (:

Will the wedding be outdoors?
Answer
Yes! Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be held outdoors. Please keep in mind that the property has grass and a brick dance floor. Ladies, please choose a thick heel and leave the stilettos at home!

Dress Code
Answer
We are requesting garden party semi-formal attire (whatever that means) for our wedding. Ladies: Go for dresses that are chic yet comfortable. A midi or maxi dress is preferred. Would love to see fun, floral patterns and pastel colors from the women if you have them! You could also go for a stylish pantsuit or jumpsuit. Please no jeans or denim. Remember, you'll be outdoors, so choose fabrics that are breathable and comfortable. Go for thick heels, wedges, or flats that won't get stuck in the grass. Men: Think lightweight suits, stylish blazers, and crisp linen shirts. A well-tailored suit in a light color is a great choice. Think beige, light grey, or even pastel shades. If a full suit feels too formal, opt for a blazer and chinos combo. Choose fabrics that are breathable and comfortable for an outdoor setting. Please no hats, jeans, or denim.

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
The alcohol is on us! There will be a bar with beer, wine, and seltzers. Ubers may be hard to come by in Hudsonville. Please plan your designated driver if you are drinking. Again, cars may be left at the venue overnight.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
The entire food spread will be gluten free! If you have additional food allergies or concerns, please inform Miranda.
