Maid of Honor
She's brilliant, talented, and beautiful! How could I not look up to my sister from the very beginning. Since she was my first roommate, Joe has her to thank for why I'm so easy to live with. She trained me well. No matter how far from home I have wandered, She has always visited me without hesitation. Even coming to Wisconsin multiple times in the middle of winter. That's love. I can't think of anyone better to be my Maid of Honor. She is my sister, my role model, and my friend. She also prefers the title Maid of Honor to Matron, even though she is married. After all, why should a women's title have to change (if she doesn't want it to) just because she is married! Down with the patriarchy!
Best Man
Joe Porter and I have been friends for a little over a decade. We have become close over the years. Most of what we do has some element of work involved whether it is on something automotive, outside in the yard, or a project in the shop. Generally we are there for each other to foolishly encourage time consuming projects to save a buck. We share similar beliefs that machines and equipment have potential no matter how rusty or worn. We laugh about the small pieces of scrap that we save in the hopes that it will be useful some day.
