Adam and Sara met for the first time through his mother Maria. A chance encounter while both she and Sara worked for Walmart, it was a brief introduction but the start of something that would be beautiful. Both would go on to grow in to the people they are today: Sara moving to Arkansas and back to Idaho; Adam continuing his journey of becoming a software developer. Fast forward to 2019, Sara made her first solo trip, destination…Hawaii! She spent 9 days with friends from high school, meeting new people and exploring the island; coming home as many do with thoughts of “how do I leave this life!” Adam went to Hawaii with friends in August of that year, which is where the story really begins and Facebook became a key player. Sara commented on a Facebook post with a recommendation for Adam to visit based on her recent trip, then true to Facebook; they started liking and commenting on each others adventures until finally Adam made the move to send her a direct message. On 9/28/19, they went on their first date at the Reef in downtown Boise. This was not only the day that Adam knew that Sara was the one, but the day she ruined his love of Caesar salads. He never realized a key ingredient of the dressing was anchovies, and he has an extreme aversion to fish. Needless to say, he didn’t finish his salad, and there was late night Wiseguys pizza before Adam put Sara in an uber to take her home. Less than a month later, they went to Adam’s first NFL game in Seattle; and have since visited Hawaii, London, Napa, San Diego, Las Vegas and Seattle together (among many others). Experiencing life to its fullest, with many more destinations on the list. Their relationship has had many chapters. The 2020 pandemic, Sara’s move to Seattle, both going through unexpected career changes; but through it all, they have grown closer and supported each other. On June 12, 2025, Adam proposed to Sara with the help of their friends Danny and Ashley at the Shore Lodge in McCall. McCall holds a special place in their hearts; Sara grew up in McCall, but it was their first road trip together as a couple in January of 2020. Their story is just beginning and they are so excited to share the start of this next chapter with all of their friends and family.
