Angie met Mindy as random roommates their freshman year at UC Irvine (when they were both 18 years old) & the rest is history! They've been through so much of life together and 12+ years later, their friendship continues to grow as they share more life milestones together. Angie has been a part of Mindy's life since they started college as freshmen; now it's perfect that she will be a part of her special day for the wedding ceremony! This is one of Mindy's most loving and true friendships, hands down!
Thanh Tran

Thanh and Mindy have been friends since college at UC Irvine, and grew so much closer towards the end of their senior year while joining a cultural club together called VSA (Vietnamese Student Association). Thanh is considered one of Mindy's best guy friends and he is a true "ride or die" homie for life. He is an amazing person who puts others before him and will do anything for his close friends. His genuine and selfless personality makes him bridesMAN material 1000%.
Christina Pham

Christina "Stina" is one of Mindy's girlfriends for the past 6+ years, they met through a huge group of mutual friends who went to a 2016 music festival in Las Vegas. Christina is one of the most responsible, reliable, down to earth, compassionate, and loving human beings. She is a huge pet lover and wonderful auntie to Marley (Mindy & Matt's doggo). She is an amazing friend to the bride, always so supportive & down to have a good time!
Quy Nguyen

Quy is one of Mindy's good guy friends that has been there for her through some of her rough patches in life. They met during the pandemic and got closer after hanging out more and bonding over food and spilling the tea "literally". Quy is extremely thoughtful and considerate, he's a homie that you can depend on at any second of the day. He really puts in effort to make his friends happy without even trying. Even though they don't have a history of friendship that lasted decades, this friendship is authentic and nothing top that!
Vincent La
Best Man
Vincent is one of Matt's closest cousins of the same year and age. He and Matt have such a strong bond that they are basically best friends. They grew up together and experienced life at the same time. Even though they don't see each other often, anytime they are in the same room, you know they will have a good time. They share similar interests in music and the Lakers. They even have the same personalities and quirks! They are both loud and obnoxious. You could hear them laughing a mile away as they hype each other up and do silly shenanigans. If you get the chance to meet him, you'd say he and Matt are like two peas in a pod!
Jimmy Nguyen

Jimmy is one of Matt's oldest cousins from his mother's side who has always been a big brother figure to him since he was young. Jimmy has been there for Matt all his life, including all his life milestones. He is the definition of enjoying life and partying hard but also partying responsibility. Matt feels like Jimmy is a huge representation of family strength in unity because their cousin-bond is extremely close on their mother's side. Like in the movie fast and furious, "there's nothing stronger than family!"
Kevin Pham

Kevin Pham, also known as "KP", is one of Matt's most authentic, and dependable friends. They first met during Matt's early 20s when working together under his uncle, and through their mutual love for music have grown close. During Matt's journey through young adulthood, KP listened to Matt's life problems and provided him with great advice ranging from relationships to finances. He is the type of friend who will give you cold hard facts that you don't want to hear, but need to hear. Matt sees KP as one of his older brothers he has never had and hopes to continue sharing important parts of each others' lives.
Bryant Nguyen

Bryant was one of Matt's first coworkers and friend at his current job (Ini Ristorante); over the past year, they have gotten so close and have done so many big things together! Bryant is a genuine, loving, compassionate, and beautiful human being. He is the type of friend that will always be your big cheerleader and support you every way possible. His energy, spirit, and soul are just a blessing to be around! Even though the time Matt and Bry have known each other for about 2 years now, you could say that their friendship is one that last a lifetime.
Thien Tran

Thien met Matt (and Mindy) through a mutual friend and they have been friends for at least 7 years now. Thien is one of the most responsible, reliable, and trustworthy friends that Matt can have, which means so much. He's been such a good roommate and friend for the past 3 years. Matt and Thien always have inspirational talks about life and news around the world. Both have bonded over a lot of things varying from sports, video games, and girls since they are each dating one of the Vuu sisters :) Fun fact: Matt and Thien may be brother in-laws one day!
