Mindy & Matt met in 2015 during Spring quarter at UC Irvine, at a VSA (Vietnamese Student Association) cultural club meeting. They had no idea what was going on during this club meeting since it was elections; Mindy sat behind Matt and tapped him on the shoulder asking if he knew what was going on... honestly he had no clue. From that day forward, they became really good friends for the next year and a half, always meeting up to update one another about their personal lives, love interests, and any exciting news. Both Mindy & Matt grew much closer early 2016 when Matt suggested they go to the BROAD Museum in LA as a "date." This date was the start of a beautiful relationship between two friends and the rest was history. Matt asked Mindy to be his girlfriend at the Long Beach Aquarium in August 2016, and 7 years later.. he got down on one knee to propose to the love of his life at the same spot surrounded by all their loved ones. Today, we are here to celebrate their love for one another, and a future as newlyweds!
