Updates to dress-code have been added to the FAQ!

We met at the house of a mutual friend while getting ready for the renaissance faire and we immediately became really good friends. Our friendship has always been the most important part of our relationship and has only become stronger with time. It wasn't until almost 4 years after we met that we started to date and things have been going strong between us since!

After we officially became homeowners Nov 1, 2022, we went to a post-Halloween party a few good friends of mine were hosting. Before the end of the night, everyone had gathered in one place and Tom surprised me with a super cute proposal! I had teased him at first, not knowing what was going on, when he approached me saying he had a question for me. I laughed and, because I love jokes and sarcasm, said, "Whatever it is, 'no'!" We all had a great laugh with that and when he did pop the question, of course the response was 'yes'! On the way home Tom and I had big laughs and lots of excited chatter about it!

Feb 23rd is Mimi's grandpa's birthday, and we know he would have loved to be able to join us on this special day. We've decided to choose this date to commemorate him and because there is nothing more beautiful than a celebration on a pretty winter night!
