This might be our first picture together. In September 2013, our class had a semiformal at the zoo. We weren't actually dates to this dance, but we should have been!

Jeff asked Mimi on a date in 2013 to a basketball game. She was (and still is) unconvinced that this was a date. Fun fact- Jeff got Mimi a matching red polo shirt to wear to future basketball games.

In May 2016, we finally graduated! The quality of our four years of dental school were better than the quality of this selfie.

After graduation, Mimi moved away and Jeff stayed in Louisville. Jeff made up a "conference" in St. Louis and asked Mimi to show him around.

Jeff continued his visits to St. Louis. His enthusiasm about a couples costume made Mimi wonder...could it be? Could our friendship grow into something else? Surely, "Stranger Things" Have Happened.

Weekend trips back and forth ensued; but after the first weekend, he didn't need to make up a conference for an excuse to visit.

Mimi and Jeff went to many mutual friends' weddings. Finally, we started going as 'dates' and realized we loved weddings together!

We are both happy to have found our "forever wedding dates"!

A long distance relationship was difficult, but I loved coming back to visit some of our favorite spots in Louisville.

Jeff graduated medical school and Mimi decided to move back to Louisville in May 2019.

We feel so blessed that we made such a great group of friends while living in Louisville! We really enjoy how often they come back to visit us (and for the bourbon).

We also love our friends' tradition of getting together for the Kentucky Derby each (non-pandemic) year

On a perfect Labor Day weekend in September 2020, we celebrated Mimi's thirtieth birthday, the Kentucky Derby, and Jeff proposed on a walk in Forest Park, one of Mimi's favorite spots in St. Louis.

We are so excited to celebrate with our friends and family on September 25, 2021!
