We met Phillip when we moved to Southern Illinois and he's been a great friend ever since. Phillip and his wife Kate welcomed us to the area and have been a big part of why we have wanted to stick around Southern Illinois for as long as possible.

Malia is Mimi's younger sister. Intelligent, witty and affectionate. Malia has always had unwavering adoration for her sister, deserved or not. Malia is an engineer, living just south of Salt Lake City. One of my favorite recent memories is climbing a long route in Red Rocks with Malia, picture below. I look forward to our next adventures :)

Jared met Dean while attending Oregon State University many years ago where Dean became a good friend and long standing climbing partner, with many trips to Smith and Leavenworth together.

Fiery, passionate, great sense of humor, and steadfast friend. This wonderful lady waltzed into my life and quickly became a solid life adventure partner. A climber and a biker. I had the privledge of standing by her as she got married a few months ago, I'm so happy to have her by my side for out wedding. She shares my love for a good pun, so fire off your best when you meet her on the dance floor.

Warm, loving, family oriented and adventurous. She's a jetsetter, it seems as if her and her two boys are always returning from some great travel adventure. Jacquie is Jared's sister, and has always made me feel welcomed and part of the family. I'm so happy to have her by my side as our two families become one!
