Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Mimi Shen and Tom VandenBrand
Sorrento is a beautiful town on the Bay of Naples and the perfect jumping-off point for exploring the Amalfi Coast and other nearby sights. We hope you'll have some time to explore while you're here, whether you're looking for adventure or a relaxing afternoon. The first three recommended activities are within Sorrento, and the others are day trips from Sorrento! If you need help planning your trip, need transportation, or are looking for tour packages, please use discount code Mimi&Tom2026 while booking at https://www.joebananalimos.net

Sorrento Historic Center

Stroll through the charming, narrow streets of the old town. You'll find local artisan shops, quaint churches, and plenty of places to stop for a gelato or a refreshing glass of limoncello.

Marina Grande

This picturesque fishing village is a must-see. The harbor is lined with colorful boats and fantastic seafood restaurants right on the water. It's the perfect spot for a relaxed, authentic Italian meal.

Villa Comunale

For the best panoramic views of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius, head to this public park on the cliffs. It's a gorgeous spot for photos and a wonderful place to watch the sunset.

Amalfi Coast

Take a bus or boat trip to explore the world-famous Amalfi Coast. You can visit the breathtaking cliffside town of Positano or the elegant village of Ravello, known for its stunning gardens and vistas. A boat tour is our favorite way to see the coastline!

Island of Capri

A quick ferry ride will take you to the glamorous island of Capri. You can explore the town, take a chairlift up Monte Solaro for incredible views, or take a boat tour to see the famous Blue Grotto.

Pompeii & Herculaneum

Step back in time with a visit to the ancient cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum, which were both preserved by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. While Pompeii is the more famous of the two, Herculaneum offers an equally fascinating look at Roman life, often with smaller crowds.

Mount Vesuvius

For the adventurous, many tours also include a trip up the volcano itself! You can hike to the crater and take in the stunning views of the bay below.
