Please RSVP by April 15, 2025, or as soon as you know that you can attend!
June is a busy time of year in Juneau, AK. We recommend booking your flights, car rental, and accommodations as soon as possible to lock in prices at a more affordable rate.
Eric and Mim have arranged the following accommodations in Juneau for guests: 1. Cabins at the Methodist Camp. If you're looking for a rustic Alaskan experience, the Methodist Camp is for you! For just $10 a night, you can stay at the camp. Sign up here: https://forms.gle/RrSi4TX1CSrk29Tp9 2. Four Points by Sheraton- This hotel is located in Downtown Juneau. There are a limited number of rooms in a room block for folks looking to stay in a hotel. The room block starts on June 19 and ends on June 22. Reach out to Mim by April 15 if you’re interested. If neither of these options interest you, please be sure to book your lodging sooner rather than later, as lodging in Juneau is tight during the Summer. There are a number of Air BnBs that offer a range of experiences for travelers, from water-side homes to downtown apartments. See the travel tab for more information.
We will be renting a bus to transport guests to and from the celebration and reception. The bus will likely make two stops for pick up and drop off, one downtown and one in the valley. For the rest of the weekend, we encourage folks from out of town to rent cars in groups to enjoy the beauty of Juneau!
Yes! Parking is available but limited. When possible, please carpool or utilize the pre-arranged bus.
Please let us know in your RSVP of any food allergies or dietary restrictions.
The recommended attire for this event is Alaska Chic: think sun dresses, skirts, jumpsuits, fancy overalls, boots, sandals, button downs, and of course Xtra Tufs are welcome. Please wear comfortable shoes for walking through the grass and bring a jacket so we can hang out outside and enjoy the midnight sun (weather permitting).
