When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We kindly ask all guests to RSVP by September 10, 2026 so we can share an accurate headcount with our venue and vendors. You can RSVP through the digital invitation sent to your email from Paperless Post. If anything comes up or you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Davey or Mim - we’re happy to help!

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is formal - long or mid dresses for women, and suits with jackets for men. The bridal party will be wearing green, and groomsmen will be in tuxedos. Sometimes evenings can get a bit cool in October in Virginia, so please feel free to bring a light jacket.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

A bit of both! The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, followed by an indoor dinner reception. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll move everything indoors.

How do I get to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

We’ll have shuttles to and from the venue on Saturday, with pick-up / drop-off at the Westfields Marriott and Residence Inn. Shuttles will depart the hotels at 4:00 PM, and will depart from the venue at 10:55 PM. You may also drive to and park at the venue. If you plan to do so, please notify Mim or Davey as there is limited parking.

How early can I arrive at the wedding venue?

Answer

If you’re taking the provided transportation, you’ll be perfectly on time! If you’re driving or using a rideshare, we kindly ask that you arrive no earlier than 4:00 PM.

What is on the menu?

Answer

Dinner will be a seated meal featuring seasonal ingredients from Goodstone’s farm. The curated menu will be finalized in July. You’ll receive an email to select your entrée and share any dietary restrictions or allergies.

Will there be drinks?

Answer

Yes! There will be a full open bar all evening, starting right after the ceremony.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We’d love to celebrate with everyone, but due to venue capacity, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on each invitation. If your invitation includes a plus-one, it will be noted.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We adore your kids, but we kindly request no children at the ceremony or reception.

Your presence is truly the greatest gift, but for those who wish to contribute, you can find our registry on the “Gifts” page of the website.

Of course. He’ll be making a special appearance during cocktail hour!
