Just like in your favorite rom-com, we met on a blind date on Valentine’s Day in Princeton’s famous Thai Village. Our cupid (shout out Ellen Scott-Young) set us up thinking we’d be perfect for each other. Spoiler alert: she was right. Mim was immediately enamored with Davey’s height, charm and wit. Davey - equally as enamored - was confused by how someone as beautiful, personable and sweet as Mim could be a Chemical Engineering major. That first date led to a second, and another, and another until we quickly became inseparable. After graduation, our relationship took the natural next step - moving in with Davey’s parents in March 2020 (thanks, COVID). From there, we moved into our first apartment together in NYC before moving to D.C. late last year. Through taking on the big city, navigating job changes, and potty-training a small puppy, our love only deepened. What we had both hoped for after that very first date at Thai Village had become an unquestionable truth: we were the one for each other. We made it official when Davey brought Mim on a romantic beach walk, knelt in the sand and asked her to marry him. Her response was a resounding yes. After seven amazing years together, we’re so excited to share our story + our love with you all at our wedding on October 10, 2026. We couldn’t be more grateful to our incredible community of friends & family who’ve shown us what it means to love deeply and fully. Thank you for being a part of our love story. We’re so excited to celebrate with you!
