What is the cost for accommodations?

Answer

The cost for staying through our arranged accommodations will be $240 per person ($60 per night for 4 nights). Children under the age of 5 are free!

How do I arrange my stay?

What are the accommodations like?

Answer

There are a mix of villas, apartments and rooms in a farmhouse. Most are walking distance and some require a 5 minute drive. It is a mix of regular beds, sofa beds, private and shared rooms to accommodate 90 people between the various locations. Once you let us know if you will be staying with us, we will send out more details regarding your personal arrangements. If this is something that doesn't appeal to you, feel free to book your own housing and let us know! You will receive an email with detailed information regarding your accommodations prior to the date.

What meals should I expect during my trip?

Answer

Rehearsal dinner 9/6 Wedding dinner 9/7 Pool party lunch buffet 9/8 For those staying at the tenuta dei cavalieri, there is light breakfast every morning. For those staying at the Castle and nearby airbnb, there will be continental breakfast on 9/7 on the castle grounds.

If I prefer to organize my stay on my own, do you have any suggestions where to look?

Answer

How do I arrange transportation from the airports and train stations to the castle?

Answer

The castle has an 8 seater van with a driver. One way between the airport and the castle (for 8 people) is 95 euros cash for the van. It is important that you book this service early, at least 2 weeks prior to arrival. Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

It depends! If you do not want to organize transfers or use the public transit system then renting a car is a good solution. It also enables you the freedom to visit nearby cities such as Florence, Pisa and Bologna during the week! We will have an organized shuttle van for the day of the wedding and BBQ the day after, but not for the castle tour.

What are the COVID precautions in place?

Answer

Proof of vaccination is required upon check in to the venue. We will also be asking our guests to take a rapid test 1-2 days before arriving.
