Very cute town nearby, reachable if you have a car. Lots of lovely shops and restaurants to browse.

Truckee

This is our favorite place to get to by boat, but also reachable by car. It is an incredibly beautiful part of Lake Tahoe.

Emerald Bay

State line is really fun to see how many casinos pop up the minute you’re in Nevada. There’s tons of restaurants and shops to browse in South Lake Tahoe as well.
