Question

Will there be transportation for guests?

Answer

On our wedding day, we will have shuttles from the Best Western Plus Inn and Suites and The Holiday Inn to the ceremony/reception and then back.

When will the buses pick us up?

Answer

There is only ONE bus run to the venue from each hotel. One bus will start loading outside The Best Western at 4:15pm and one bus will start loading outside The Holiday Inn at 4:15pm. They will both leave for the venue at 4:30pm and arrive there 12 minutes later. **Again, there are no ubers in the area so please take advantage of this transportation.

When will the buses leave the reception?

Answer

Around 10pm the DJ will announce that the first bus is available to take guests back to the Holiday Inn and the Best Western. At 11pm, we will have 2 buses available to bring guests back- one bus will go to the Holiday Inn and one bus will go to the Best Western. **Make sure to look at the sign on the bus window to see where it is headed.**

Should I rent a car?

Answer

If you are flying in from Charlotte, Asheville or Greenville-Spartanburg- we recommend that you rent a car. The drives from the airports to Sylva are around 50 mins to 3 hours. Plus, there is only 1 uber in the area- his name is Brian and he seemed nice on the phone.

Will the ceremony or reception be outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outside but under a large tree so it is mostly shaded. You will be walking on grass, so please be careful in stilettos. The reception is also outside but it is covered, on hard ground and has plenty of fans.
