Gabe's Version: I honestly don't really remember. Ger brought his little sister around...down the shore, maybe. Well, he brought both his sisters around and they look alike so I didn't know the difference...at the beginning. Shortly after, I started following the youngest one around. I followed her around for months. I tried to be pretty subtle, but if she was out I was going to be next to her. One night when she was finally out by herself and separate from her pack of siblings I went for it! And the rest is history. Deirdre's Version: It was the summer of 2009. I had just graduated college that May and was in some sort of post-college malaise which required copious amounts of Coors Lights to survive. I was feeling fun and free! Eager to squeeze in one last weekend of fun, Aisling and I went down to Gerry's beach house in Avalon for Labor Day Weekend. It was the last weekend of summer and we came equipped with a case of beer, a bottle of svedka (that was premium at the time) some freshly baked cookies (so young and innocent!) and giddy smiles! Shortly after we arrived, we saw this handsome guy standing on a chair giving a rousing end of summer speech. Aisling and I laughed and laughed and realized we both kind of liked this funny guy... Over the next few months, every time I went out with Gerry and my siblings, I would look for Gabe and then follow him around for the rest of the night. One night, I was out with my friend Lauren from high school (no siblings in tow) and Gabe walked into the bar. I played it cool and then put on The Killers, balanced a beer on my head and decided it was time to wow him with moves. And the rest is history.
