What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal in summer colors. Think garden party! Women- would love to see all the bright/fun summer colors and floral dresses to go with our theme! Think full, midi, or tea length dresses. Men- suits encouraged and ties optional Wedding colors are- blush pink, dusty blue, soft peach, and muted olive (no pressure to wear these colors!)

What is the best way to get to The Barn on New River?

Answer

If you're coming from West Jefferson or Boone, there are several ways to get to the venue. We suggest that you take Water Tank Road as your first turn off of 221 for the least turbulent/mountain road experience!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids! However, children are only welcome if their names are on your invitation and when you RSVP.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can accommodate all our guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We have hired a professional photographer and videographer to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy! We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the ceremony.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 5pm. Please arrive 15 - 30 minutes before the ceremony to sign our guest book, get settled and take your seats.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking available at The Barn on New River. It is a short walk up to the ceremony/reception area.
