Wedding Party

Jennifer Stringer

Matron of Honor

Sarah has known Jennifer since she was a few days old, you would have thought she was there the day she was born, but apparently, she was off doing other 9-year-old things. At least her response to her new little sister's birth was better than her older brother, Kyle, who threw up as they tried to take her home. Tenny has played an integral part in Sarah's life and is someone she has always looked up to. She is kind, sarcastic, a little woo woo, and always there for her when she needs her. She is the best big sister one could ask for.

Jonathan Dinsmore

Best Man

Jonathan is Dylan's oldest friend, having met one night while Jonathan and another neighborhood kid were driving RC cars. Dylan had recently gotten an RC car too and asked to drive with them, which they happily invited. From that point on, it's been over 20 years of RC cars, skateboarding, snowboarding, video games, dirt bikes, Digiorno movie days, camping, fishing, mountain biking, and countless random hobbies. They are in a constant state of either supporting one another, or trying to one up each other in an endless cycle of shenanigans.

Brittany Harley

Maid of Honor

Sarah and Brittany were fatefully assigned the same cottage their freshman year at CBU. Brittany at first did not think too highly of Sarah, because Sarah may have said taking a 7am class is stupid, but she just didn't understand 18-year-old Sarah's humor yet. Not long after, they were inseparable. While they have a few hundred miles of distance between them now, they both work hard to catch up on nursing drama in their lives, venturing on the road to being married women, and any other silly things that come to mind. These two are often told they are the same person, because they pretty much are.

Travis Miller

Groomsman

Travis is Dylan's oldest brother, and he tends to remind Dylan of that fact. From the begining, Travis has always been the one to lookout for everyone, and even saved Dylan when he jumped in a pool as a toddler and sank like a stone. Travis and Dylan have had many shared interests over the years, as brothers do. From motorsports, boardsports, to music, they have always helped one another to push and expand on their passions. Travis has always been an example to Dylan with his strong determination and insight. He is the epitome of "work hard, play hard".

Beatriz Gillespie

Matron of Honor

Beatriz and Sarah met while working at their on-campus job, Conferences and Events at CBU. Bee was hesitant around Sarah at first because she liked to goof around, and Sarah took her work a little too seriously. But it didn't take long for Bee to get her to lighten up, and show her all the ways to make work fun. Especially by buying Slurpees and Scratchers on their 15 min breaks at 7 Eleven. Bee has also moved away from Sarah, as apparently a lot of her close friends do, but they stay very much in contact and love to torture themselves by rewatching Downton Abbey constantly.

Eric Miller

Groomsman

Eric is Dylan's older brother, and their relationship for years seemed to be either them laughing and playing together, or at each other's wits end (usually from Dylan getting underneath Erics' skin). As they grew up, it blossomed into a relationship full of encouragement and sharing their passion for the outdoors, animals, and building cool stuff. Although, you may still catch them intensely debating Star Wars lore. Eric has one of the most charismatic personalities that Dylan knows of, and his fearless approach to life always reminds Dylan that progress only happens outside of your comfort zone.

Katie Cochran

Bridesmaid

Sarah and Katie both grew up in the community of Canyon Lake. We'd like to say they were childhood friends, but Katie was in with the cool kids and Sarah was really... studious. These two finally connected in their last years of high school when Katie started dating someone in Sarah's friend group (Sarah became a little bit cooler in high school, the second half). Once they connected, Katie and her vibrant personality took Sarah under her wing and they haven't separated yet. Those young relationships failed, but their friendship remained constant. Katie also lives super far away, but they stay in touch often and Katie mostly starts the convos with "are you pregnant!?" or "are you married yet!?" even though they just talked last week. Everyone needs a "Katie" in their life.

Jessica Miller

Groomswoman

Jessica is Dylan's younger sister, and from the day Jessica came home, Dylan was right by her side. Having only been one grade apart growing up, they spent a lot of time together at school, even taking the same classes at community college so they could help each other study. There were a few times Dylan would walk into a test, after only studying for a few minutes, and pass it with flying colors, which began Jessica's favorite joke, "everything always works out for Dylan". Jessica's cool and calm demeanor has always been a trait Dylan admires. She exudes confidence, cares deeply for others, and just lets stuff bounce right off her.

Blake Navarro

Bridesman

Sarah and Blake met at their first job, working the Hot Dog Shack at the Storm Stadium, a minor league baseball team. Sarah was a cashier, and Blake worked the grill. At first, they didn't talk too much, but one day as Sarah was getting out of her car, she saw Blake walking past and said "wait for me, best friend!!" And ever since that day, they are Best Friend Blake and Best Friend Sarah. They bonded over Disneyland, going more times than can count, and Blake introduced her to the fun that was attending live MLB and NHL games. Blake is an amazing friend who stayed in the area, and now they get to hang out with their significant others in tow.

Robert Smith

Groomsman

Robert and Dylan had been friends on Facebook initally, but didnt actually meet until Robert caught Dylan walking out of a store one day and introduced himself. He was quick to invite Dylan out for a night of off-roading, as they both had Jeeps. They hit it off and after that trip Robert began helping Dylan build up his Jeep. They found themselves constantly either out in the desert or in Robert's garage late at night fixing whatever they broke while they were out in the desert. Robert's personality and strong convictions resonated with Dylan, and even though Dylan would leave for college a year after they met, they have remained friends for years and just pick up wherever they left off last.

Jennifer Muniz

Bridesmaid

Jen and Sarah also met working in the office of Conferences and Events at CBU. Jen worked as a lead, and Sarah had never met someone so gracious and kind, while also being a nursing student and the backbone of that office. They bonded quickly over Disney, sending each other funny cat photos, and encouraging one another to not quit nursing school. Jen was a senior as Sarah entered her first year of nursing school, so Jen then became the best mentor and resource. They have always remained close, and even though life may separate them for a minute, they always pick right back up as if no time has passed.

Dakota Womack

Groomsman

While Dakota and Dylan knew each other from earlier years, it wasn’t until 2018 when their friendship started to take form. They had a mutual friend in Jonathan, and around this time the 3 of them began playing video games on their PC’s. Once COVID came in full swing, they would spend days binging their favorites in gaming marathons. Post COVID, Dakota and Dylan started visiting theme parks and events together, and eventually doubling dating with Fatima and Sarah.

James Spaulding

Father of the Bride

Sarah always grew up quite the daddy's girl, and all of those Daddy-Daughter dances she brought him to are some of her favorite memories. She loved tagging along with Dad on small adventures, learning anything and everything so she could be independent when on her own, and has always admired his work ethic. If there is the slightest thing off or wrong with her car, Dad is the first person that Sarah calls, whether it is midday or 2am, and he talks her off the ledge and tells her the next steps. Her dad is also surprisingly where Sarah got her love of watching romantic comedies, some of her favorites being Ever After and the Princess Bride. Her dad is very special to her and she is so excited to have him walk her down the aisle.

Mike Miller

Father of the Groom

Mike has been the biggest influence of all on Dylan, to the point his brothers call him "Dad Jr". They are both the youngest brothers of their siblings, and he was able to relate to Dylan's struggles of trying to keep up with his older brothers. They always seemed to be on the road together driving up to Utah or the river, where they would talk about life or projects they were working on. For a few years Mike and Dylan would spend every weekend together at the Saugus Swap Meet, selling skateboards or trading among the other vendors seeing what deals they could put together. Mike has an incredible work ethic, the friendliest personality, and lives his life with intense curiosity.

Carolyn Spaulding

Mother of the Bride

If Sarah's mom went missing, Sarah would know within 15 minutes, no exaggeration. Sarah and her mom talk constantly throughout the day, and Sarah calls her every day on her drive home from work. Sarah also doesn't like to make many decisions, without consulting Mom first. These two had some rough times during those teen years, but what Mother-Daughter duo didn't, right? Mom has always held Sarah to a very high standard, when she would come home complaining about something someone else did, Mom's response was usually "well, what did you do to provoke them to say/do that?". Sarah learned kindness and grace from her mother, and is who she is because of her.

Kelly Miller

Mother of the Groom

Kelly had her hands full with 3 boys to raise along with her youngest daughter. Somehow through all the chaos she managed to keep it all in check, while having unique relationships with all her children. When the family would visit Disneyland, you would find her and Dylan on the teacups, along with whatever poor soul that thought they could hang with them spinning into oblivion. She introduced Dylan early on to Star Wars, something he would become obsessed with and cherish to this day. They would go see all the superhero movies, cook together in the kitchen, and she was always more than happy to be the sounding board for Dylan and what he wanted to talk about.

Daniel Stringer

Officiant/Flower Man

Dan the Man. Even before Sarah and Dylan were planning a wedding, they always knew Dan would be the perfect person to officiate for them. Daniel entered Sarah's life in 2013 when her sister introduced him as her new beau, and his goofy personality fit right in with the family. Dylan and Dan were introduced virtually first and chatted many times, and then they finally met in person in 2022 and it was love at first sight. Dan always keeps the mood fun and light, and he's the person you want around for a good time. He has been the best addition to the family, and sets an amazing example as a husband and a father.
