Among the most important National Historic Landmarks in the nation, the African Meeting House and Abiel Smith School on Beacon Hill were built in the early 1800's and are two of the museum's most valuable assets. The Black Heritage Trail is a 1.6-mile walking tour that explores the history of Boston’s 19th century African American community who primarily lived on the north slope of Beacon Hill. The museum costs $10 per adult. You can do a self-guided walking tour of the trail or schedule with a tour guide for free.

Since 1912, it has been the home for the Boston Red Sox, the city's American League baseball team, and since 1953, its only Major League Baseball franchise. While the stadium was built in 1912, it was rebuilt in 1934. It is the oldest active ballpark in MLB. You can schedule a tour of this space or just visit on your own and see the outside.
