Among the most important National Historic Landmarks in the nation, the African Meeting House and Abiel Smith School on Beacon Hill were built in the early 1800's and are two of the museum's most valuable assets. The Black Heritage Trail is a 1.6-mile walking tour that explores the history of Boston’s 19th century African American community who primarily lived on the north slope of Beacon Hill. The museum costs $10 per adult. You can do a self-guided walking tour of the trail or schedule with a tour guide for free.

We live right next to this conservatory and have spent many hours/date nights here. We love it! The arboretum is a 281-acre preserve in the heart of Boston, the Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University stewards one of the world’s most comprehensive and best documented collections of temperate woody plants, with particular focus on the floras of eastern North America and eastern Asia. There are many trails to explore!

This is the site of the famous art heist in the 80's - if you don't know the story watch XX on Netflix! Also, it's beautiful and has a lot of lovely art. This is one of Alexandria's favorite museums in Boston.

Since 1912, it has been the home for the Boston Red Sox, the city's American League baseball team, and since 1953, its only Major League Baseball franchise. While the stadium was built in 1912, it was rebuilt in 1934. It is the oldest active ballpark in MLB. You can schedule a tour of this space or just visit on your own and see the outside.

The most delicious ice-cream - and it all started in our neighborhood, Jamaica Plain! Alexandria's favorite: Black and White malt with extra malt. Tyler's favorite - literally anything, whatever sounds delicious right in that moment - usually something with fruit. Everything is amazing! They also roast their coffee in-house and their beans are some of the most delicious in Boston.
