Boston Public Library - Central Library

Just a few steps from the Lenox Hotel, the Central Library in Copley Square is free and open to the public. All visitors are welcome to visit and explore during the library's open hours. Wander through the halls, admire the artwork, or enjoy a moment of quiet in the Bates Hall, with its iconic green lamps.

Public Garden

Located approximately a 15-minute walk from the Lenox Hotel, the Boston Public Garden offers a peaceful escape in the busy city. Ride on the iconic Swan Boats, explore nearby Freedom Trail landmarks and guided tours, or relax on a bench and take in nature. Be sure to look for the Make Way for Ducklings statue from one of the bride’s favorite childhood books!

Museum of Science

Check out shows at the planetarium! Public Transportation: Science Park station is located on the D and E branches of the Green Line. After exiting the station, the Museum will be diagonally across the street (O'Brien Highway), just over the Charles River Dam draw bridge.

The Harvard Museum of Natural History

Tickets can only be purchased at the admissions desk and the museum shop. The museum is connected to the Peabody Museum of Archaeology & Ethnology, and admission to one museum admits you to both during regular hours. Public Transportation: Take the Red Line to the Harvard Square stop.

Museum of Fine Arts, Boston

Public Transportation: Take the Green Line E train to the Museum of Fine Arts stop or the Orange Line to the Ruggles stop.

Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum

Tickets can sell out fast and may not be available at the door. Buy your tickets in advance to guarantee entrance at your preferred time. Public Transportation: Take the Green Line E train to the Longwood Medical Area, or the Orange Line train to the Ruggles stop. This museum is located a few blocks away from the Museum of Fine Arts.

Sam Adams Brewery

30 Germania Street, Boston, MA 02130

Take a tour of the brewery in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood. There is a parking lot on-site, but the brewery is also a few minutes walk from the Stony Brook stop on the Orange Line. You can also visit the Downtown Boston Taproom at 60 State Street, Boston, MA 02109.

The Lenox Hotel is nearby to Copley Place, a luxury shopping center, and Newbury Street, a beautiful street of cafes and boutiques.
