What will be your married names?
Answer
We will be keeping them! So though we’ll be married, we’ll still be known as Karina Miller & Jared Shadish.

What is the dress code? What should I wear?
Answer
We kindly request formal attire. Wedding party/family will be wearing evening dresses in lilac and sage green with men in tuxedos. The event is indoors with an outdoor balcony available for guest use during the reception. Inspiration: Dark suits & dress pants, dressy jumpsuits, fancy cocktail dresses, long gowns.

Can I bring my kids? Will there be a babysitter?
Answer
We are looking forward to having our guests relax and enjoy an evening of celebration - our wedding will be an adult-only occasion. We politely request no children at this event.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Answer
We respectfully request that you plan to arrive by 4:15 PM to ensure the ceremony begins promptly at 4:30 PM.

Yes! The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place at the Lenox Hotel, located at 61 Exeter St, Boston, MA 02116. We look forward to seeing you there!

The Lenox Hotel has valet service available at 61 Exeter Street. We ask that all responses be received on or before Saturday, April 18, 2026.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
We can only accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you receive a plus one, it will appear on your invite.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?
Answer
There is a discounted hotel block for guests at the Lenox Hotel (limited availability). You can find the link in the 'Travel' tab under hotel. Please select June 1 as the checkout date manually. It will display as an ‘X,’ but you can still click on the date to choose it. Rooms will be held at the special rate until 4/29/26.
