We are personally up-to-date on our flu and COVID-19 vaccines, and we would encourage those who are able to also do the same. As we will have many immunocompromised individuals in attendance - including the bride herself - we also ask that guests feeling under the weather test negative for both COVID-19 and influenza within 5 days of arrival. This includes those traveling from both near and far for our weekend celebration. Given the large guest list of family and friends, extra masks and hand sanitizer will be readily available throughout the evening for your added convenience. We truly want everyone to be as safe as possible. Since we cannot avoid being in close proximity at all times, especially during dinner and dancing, we ask you to please respect our wishes so we can all have an enjoyable and incident-free weekend. Thank you for your cooperation and we look forward to celebrating with you!
While we love our littlest family and friends, our wedding ceremony and reception is strictly adults-only to allow our guests a night of care-free celebration. If you require professional childcare during any of our events, please reach out to the bride or groom and we will happily provide a list of local caretakers/services for your convenience.
As a lover of the arts - and studio art major during undergrad - Elizabeth couldn't imagine having her wedding in any venue other than The Old Courthouse in her hometown of Cleveland, Ohio. When you enter this historic, five-story, Beaux Arts building, you will be transported back in time. Upon descending the rolling staircase, you will be greeted by ornate hand-cut marble arches, hand-carved wood trims, and intricate stained-glass. The beauty is truly in the details - the vaulted, open ceilings of the great hall will leave you feeling like you're visiting an iconic European museum.
Yes! As someone with many dietary restrictions, Elizabeth knows only too well just how difficult dining out can be. We would be delighted to work together with you and our catering company to accommodate to the best of our ability. Please reach out to the bride or groom with specific allergens and/or foods of concern. Note that all catering staff will be educated on which foods contain a "Top 9 Allergen" if they are not already labeled, so please ask if you need clarification.
We have hired an incredible professional photography company to shoot our special evening. To ensure their crew captures our guests living in the moment, our ceremony will be a "phone-free" zone. We also kindly request that you place your phones on silent and keep your flash turned off for the entirety of the evening. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. But oh snap, we also love a good photo op and encourage you to use our hashtag throughout the evening. #MillerFoundHisFlo
