Cincinnati Art Museum

Located in scenic Eden Park, the Cincinnati Art Museum, the first purpose-built art museum west of the Allegheny Mountains, features a diverse, encyclopedia art collection of more than 67,000 works spanning 6,000 years. The grounds were refurbished in 2020 to include the Art Climb, a grand staircase leading up to the museum from Gilbert Avenue.

Taft Museum of Art

The Taft Museum of Art is a fine art collection, including European old master paintings and 19th-century American paintings. The galleries are housed within the oldest domestic wooden structure in downtown Cincinnati, the former residence of several prominent Cincinnatians. The most recent resident of 316 Pike Street, Charles Phelps Taft, owned both the Philadelphia Phillies and Chicago Cubs baseball teams; he was also the older half-brother of William Howard Taft, the 27th President of the United States.
