FAQs

Question

How long is the ceremony?

Answer

Due to being a blended Catholic/Lutheran wedding, the ceremony will last around 30 minutes.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We want our family and friends to have a fun night child-free. We ask that you please arrange for childcare.

Question

What's for dinner?

Answer

Dinner will be served family-style, with options including a garden salad, roasted chicken, tenderloin tips, garlic mashed potatoes, mushroom risotto, Italian pasta salad, dinner rolls, and dessert.

Question

Will a shuttle be available from the hotel to the church?

Answer

No, please plan to drive or carpool between the ceremony and reception.

Question

Can I request a song from the Band or DJ?

Answer

Yes, but if it kills the vibe, we'll all publicly shame you.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. Please dress respectfully for the church service. All parts of the wedding will be indoors.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We hired a professional photographer to capture our special day and ask that guests refrain from using their cellphones during the ceremony. However, during our reception, we highly encourage using your phone to capture all the crazy evening activities.

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than October 1st. If you do not RSVP by that time, the staff will not set a seat for you.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to size limits, we cannot accommodate additional guests outside those indicated on your RSVP. Your invite and/or website RSVP will indicate the number of guests invited in your party.

Question

What about gifts?

Answer

Your presence is enough, but if you'd like to provide a gift, we have a small household registry through Amazon. Otherwise, cash gifts to help us with larger home repairs are greatly appreciated.
