Due to limited venue capacity, we are unable to accomodate a plus one unless it is specifically indicated on your invitation. When you go to RSVP you will be able to see the exact number of people you can RSVP for.
The ceremony will be open seating to sit wherever you please. For the reception, we will be carefully arranging tables so our guests are seated with those they know (or their plus one/partners).
We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say " I do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony feel free to take as many photos and videos as you would like! We also have disposable cameras provided for guests to capture any candid moments throughout the night.
The Carlyle has limited parking (55 spaces) available that will be on a first come first serve basis. For out of town guests, more information will be provided to you regarding transportation to the venue. *If possible we highly recommend using rideshare apps (Lyft, Uber) if you plan on drinking or are located nearby the venue.*
We DO NOT want anyone drinking and driving. The Carlyle (of course) agrees. As such, guests will be able to leave their vehicles overnight at the venue and pick them up the next morning. We recommend using rideshare apps (Lyft, Uber) for transportation if you plan on drinking.
We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! We are requesting black tie optional attire. For men options include a tux or the classic suit and tie. For ladies this means floor length gown, cocktail dress, or a dressy pantsuit. Please refrain from wearing any white, ivory, or cream colors.
We are so grateful to our out of town guests for being a part of our big day! We have arranged for a hotel block at the Hotel Colee. Additional information about our reserved hotel block will be located on our Accommodations tab as soon as details are finalized.
