Arianna and John met via the ultimate romantic experience: a dating app! Thanks to premium subscription purchases on Hinge, they connected over their love of sports, good food, travel, sporting clays, music, movies, dogs, and the Midwest. Mutual knowledge of the card game "euchre" was a particularly green flag (always save the ace of hearts)! Their interests plus John's first-ever message to Ari—a comment of "This Is The Way" on a profile picture of her and a large inflatable Grogu—had them going on a date the very next night...during which Arianna was 15 minutes late and John spent the following 15 minutes texting his mom and sister about their Valentine’s Day meatloaf tradition (which Arianna thought was downright made-up at first, but gladly got to participate the following year). They’ve since spent their time together golfing, dancing like maniacs at concerts, cheering at hockey and football games, going on adventures with family and friends, and belting everything from the best of 90’s country to heavy metal to Disney classics along the way. You won’t find a more enthusiastic karaoke duet of Tenacious D’s “Tribute.” John proposed under the stars at the gorgeous Secrets Akumal resort in Mexico’s Riviera Maya, and the happy couple cannot wait to return to seal the deal and celebrate with loved ones!
