Beautiful, high up view of the downtown Seattle skyline with Mount Rainier behind it. Good during the day, during sunset, and at night (10 minute drive from hotel)
Water tower with over a hundred steps to get to top but it has an amazing 360 view of Seattle. View of the Space Needle at another location within the park. Nice big green fields and super tall trees. Seattle Asian Art Museum is located there along with a plant conservatory. Good from dawn to dusk. (10 minute drive from hotel)
if you go to Volunteer park, you can park your car there, explore the park and then head towards Louisa Boren which is just two blocks away. On the way there is Lake View Cemetery which a well kept and historical cemetery, where Bruce Lee and his son are buried. It is a nice place to walk through and visit the Lees’ graves. Then just across the street is the Louisa Boren lookout which has a great view of Lake Washington and towns on the East side of the lake. Good from dawn to dusk. (10 minute drive from hotel)

French Bakery with sandwiches at Pike Place Market. It seems that there is only pick up so you could eat the sandwiches back at the hotel or at outdoor seating. There is an outdoor seating area with picnic tables at the intersection of Pike Place and Pike Street right by the famous Public Market sign.
