Bolivia does NOT require a tourist visa for citizens of the US, Canada, Mexico, and most Latin American countries but please verify your visa requirements while planning. Any information you may find online regarding visas and vaccine requirements for tourists is outdated and obsolete as of 2026.
We recommend booking your flights with Copa Airlines, BoA (Boliviana de Aviacion), Latam, or Avianca. These airlines fly to Viru Viru International Airport (VVI), which is Santa Cruz's only international airport. (Please make sure to fly into VVI, not LPB.)
