Most international cards (Visa, Mastercard) work inside the country. However, many establishments have extra card fees and prefer being paid in cash in Bolivianos. Withdrawing cash inside the country is difficult, so we recommend bringing US dollars in cash and exchanging them for the local currency once you're in Bolivia. AMEX cards are rarely accepted at places that aren't hotels.
Ubers and local rideshare apps are available and you can also use hotel taxis. You can also take an airport cab from VVI to your hotel or request a private car/shuttle from your hotel to and from the airport. For the wedding, we will be arranging transportation to and from the Hotel Camino Real for all the guests staying there.
