We originally met in 2010 during our freshman year at Loyola University New Orleans. Despite having several mutual friends, we ran in completely different circles. He played Rugby, worked out, & was a New Orleans native. I was a Netflix binge watcher, barely knew how to find the campus gym, & was from North Louisiana. I guess what they say about opposites attracting is true.

After going our separate ways, we reconnected 6 years later. We started going to the gym together, cooking for each other, and he let me watch the Rocky Horror Picture Show remake on his giant tv - and that's when he really caught my attention. So with the approval of Toulouse* & Willow (my cats**), we fell in love. 😍 *Toulouse passed away August 30, 2018 **We added Teemo to our family January 2017

Even though we attended a nice dinner with some of my sorority sisters for Founders' Day, he waited until we got home (and after I had taken off my good clothes) to get down on one knee, which was a difficult feat for him at the time. He asked me to marry him and of course I said "About damn time!" I couldn't have asked for a better proposal. ❤️
