Enjoy the shops and Sun Valley's rich history. Don't miss the wall of fame inside the Sun Valley lodge. You will not be welcomed back if you don't have a drink at the Duchin Lounge.
Take the gondola up to Roundhouse for lunch and a cold beer. If you're looking for more of an activity, rent a mountain bike and take it up the gondola (you'll probably have more fun riding down). Bike rentals: Sturtenvants or Backwoods.
This drive is north of Ketchum. The scenery is unreal! You can turn around at Galena Summit (you'll know you've arrived because there is a specific spot to pull off at the summit to take in the view) or you can continue to Smiley Creek Lodge for the BEST milk shakes you've ever had (make it a double).
Instead of taking the gondola up, you can hike up to Roundhouse from a trail that starts at the bottom of River Run Lodge. Moderate hike; take the gondola down. You earned that burger and beer!
One of many golf courses in the valley.
Equipment can be rented at Silver Creek Outfitters or Lost Creek Outfitters in Ketchum. If you're serious about this, think about booking a guide for a day.
