For several reasons, we have opted to do an unplugged wedding ceremony. We have hired a wonderful photographer for this special day, so we are kindly requesting that all cell phones and cameras be put away (and out of our photographers shots). We promise to share our photos from the big day with all of you. There will also be an announced photo op at the end of the ceremony. After the ceremony, you are free to take photos and use our social media tag #SoontobeSmigielski. If you have any further questions about why we chose to do this, please click here- https://www.wrdw.com/content/news/Turn-off-your-phone-More-brides-opting-for-an-unplugged-wedding-ceremony-512831441.html
Yes, there will be an open bar for all guests to enjoy. Please drink responsibly, as all unsupervised shenanigans will be documented by our lovely photographers. Cheers!
If your online RSVP indicates a guest, then yes, by all means! If not, please bring yourself. We want to have you celebrate with us on our big day, but the venue space may not allow for plus ones.
We love your children...we really do! However, we want our big day to be your day off. Though certain family members may be invited, we ask that you leave your children at home unless otherwise indicated on your invitation
Dress codes formal. No need for a tuxedo, but a suit is preferred. Both long and short cocktail and evening dresses are encouraged. Please be aware that the ceremony will be outdoors, so ladies may want to opt for a thicker heel, flats, or heel stoppers. Our bridal parties will be wearing black. We cannot wait to see all of you looking red carpet ready!
