Our Story
THE NIGHT WE MET
On November 2, 2013, at a Halloween party, Anthony approached Colleen after recognizing her from class at the University of Cincinnati. We had been in adjacent studio sections at DAAP and later realized we had quietly been drawn to each other from afar. That night marked the start of a love story that had begun long before we knew each other’s names.
OUR FIRST DATE
On November 15, 2013, we had our first date at Dewey’s Pizza on Ludlow, where we discovered how much we shared in values, interests, and life goals. Less than a month later, on December 7, 2013, Anthony asked Colleen to be his girlfriend beneath the sparkling Christmas tree at the Cincinnati Zoo.
THE PROPOSAL
Two college degrees and a move to NYC later, Anthony proposed on a boat along Italy’s stunning Amalfi Coast. Colleen got a bit seasick, but it made saying yes even more memorable and we celebrated with a swim in the sea (ring safely removed) before ending the day with a surprise photoshoot and dinner.
