She has been part of Mikey and Kaitlynn's love story since the very beginning!

Michael met Seydou during their freshman year of high school in Biology class, and they grew closer while playing together on the school soccer team. Even after Seydou went off to Penn State, they stayed connected and made a point to meet up whenever they were in the same city. He’s been one of Michael’s closest friends for years, so choosing him as best man was an easy decision.
Amanda Burke

Amanda and Kaitlynn met in college as Resident Assistant partners and quickly became not just roommates, but lifelong friends. Even though they now live miles apart, they still talk regularly, as if nothing has changed. Kaitlynn had the joy of watching Amanda’s love story with her now-husband, Kris, unfold from the very beginning, and was honored to stand by her side on their wedding day. Now, Kaitlynn is excited to have Amanda do the same!

Michael has known Jonathan since he was two years old. Their moms used to dress them (and Jonathan’s younger brother, Richi) in matching outfits everywhere they went, creating a childhood full of shared memories. Even though they’re not related by blood, they’ve always considered each other cousins. Their family-oriented nature and decades of friendship have kept them close ever since.

Emma and Kaitlynn met during a chaotic, high-stress job, and somehow, between coffee runs and crisis emails, a real friendship took root. Since then, they’ve been coworkers at two different companies and have had years worth of dinners, happy hours, doggy playdates, and countless voice notes that could probably fill a podcast. Emma has also been a beloved “aunt” to Florence, even helping nanny her when life got busy. Through every season, Emma has been a constant.

Michael met Oscar through a mutual friend, and while their bond wasn’t instant, it steadily grew into one of Michael’s strongest friendships. Michael is now the proud godfather of Oscar’s daughter, Charlotte. Whether they’re playing soccer or smoking cigars in Puerto Rico, time together is always full of laughs and great stories.

Kaitlynn and Hannah met at work and quickly bonded over their shared love of Taylor Swift, books, and all things pop culture. What started as McDonalds runs and Starbucks sanity breaks turned into a true friendship filled with book swaps and happy hours. Hannah has been a loyal and supportive friend ever since, joining all of Kaitlynn's family Thanksgivings and holiday traditions, and Kaitlynn couldn’t imagine saying “I do” without her by her side.

Michael met Hugo through Jonathan, and they quickly bonded over their shared love of soccer. Despite rooting for rival teams, they didn’t let the rivalry get in the way of their friendship (well, not too much). Thirteen years ago, they co-founded the soccer team they still play on today and now serve as co-captains. Off the field, their shared appreciation for bourbon, especially a good old fashioned, has become another staple of their friendship.
