FAQs

I'll put the awkward here, so you don't have to ask.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

January 31st, please and thank you!

Question

Um.. is there a dress code?

Answer

Tuxes, gowns, suits, cocktail dresses, button-ups with slacks, sundresses... whatever "suits" your fancy! (Har-har!) This will be an indoor/outdoor event. The ground may be soft, so choose footwear accordingly.

Question

My invite did not mention a "plus one". Can I bring a date?

Answer

Possibly. Please call or text Michael at 772.212.5450 to see if we will have the extra room! Please note: it is required you ask. There's a good chance that food will not be there for your date if not.

Question

Are my sweet kids invited?

Answer

The ceremony and dance floor will be adult and child friendly, so yes! If they are still living under your roof, they should have been included in your RSVP. If I did not include them on your RSVP for some strange reason, please call me (Michael) at 772.212.5450 and I will remedy this.

Question

Will there be ample parking for the ceremony and reception.. or do I need to arrive two hours early?

Answer

Plenty of green grass to park on... and we aren't kidding. It's really all the free parking you can handle. We will have forest rangers on site, so there will be certain parts roped off where parking will be prohibited in case they need to leave immediately.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Atleast 15 minutes before the ceremony starts, please and thank you.

Question

I need a parking spot close to the reception hall because I can't walk long distances. Is it okay to park in front of the roped off areas?

Answer

Absolutely not! When you arrive, you'll see a happy little RV parked next to the bath house. That's the home of the regional forest rangers, a lovely couple that may be the lifeline if there's an ATV rollover out in the woods or a wildfire. If there's an emergency, they need to leave IMMEDIATELY. Please, please, PLEASE do not park in front of the roped off areas. It means they will have to interrupt our ceremony or reception and take precious minutes away from someone who needs their help. I cannot stress this enough. We will leave specialized parking up front for handicapped or special needs folks that will be clearly marked.

Question

Is this a dry wedding? Can I bring my own liquor?

Answer

Wine and beer will be provided during the cocktail hour and reception. If there's anything else you'd fancy during the party, feel free to bring it.

For all the days along the way
