Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends that will be walking down the aisle with us on our special day!

Jenna Barnett

Bridesmaid

Mallory and Jenna's friendship started one summer at Furman University before it migrated to sharing a room at the Vista House and a love of all things Avett Brothers and breakfast tacos. Although they may no longer be roommates, Jenna and Mallory are even more excited to live in the same state, again!

Ali Boyd

Maid of Honor

Apart from being Mallory's sister, Ali is definitely Mallory's number one speed-dial, confidant, and friend. Mallory admires her sister most for the work she does on the border ensuring asylum seekers receive fair and just treatment and even more for her commitment to finding every dog to pet anywhere she goes.

Reb Boyd

Bridesman

To know Reb is to love him. And even if you don't know him very well, it takes only a brief encounter to know he is the personality of the Boyd family. Reb allowed Mallory to pick on him, until he was 9 and quickly surpassed Mallory's height, he remains the entertainer of the family and makes an impressive Bloody Mary!

Amy Canosa

Officiant

Simply, the best. Amy has been a friend of Mallory's since she was a student at Furman. They quickly bonded over many shared evenings cooking in the kitchen at the Vista House. While they went their separate ways in 2013, they returned to Greenville in 2016 to become roommates and share a kitchen, once again.

Liesel Hamilton

Bridesmaid

Liesel and Mallory were forced to hang out for the first time in 6th grade over a Columbia Inferno Ice Hockey game because their sisters were friends and, well, the friendship was inevitable. Soon thereafter the two shared many adventures together, not forcibly of course. Liesel and Mallory share a love of small bookstores and one day hope to share a creative space filled with many old books and delicious laminated treats.

Thomas Hydrick

Bridesman

Mallory and Thomas have been friends, officially, since the 7th grade when Thomas asked Mallory in study hall to go to Washington, D.C. for a government camp (seriously). Obviously enthused about politics, Mallory accepted and the two have shared a friendship over the decades filled with political and social debates ever since. And only once did our parents have to cut us off from talking on the phone about stem-cell research.

Andrew Llewellyn

Best Man

When you need a friend to turn too, a brother to guide you, or a partner to share laughs with, you load up the Yeti with Margaritas and hit the lake for some quality time with your Best Man. Some locals joke that Mikey’s last name is actually Llewellyn. Mikey and Andrew can usually be found in the gym, on a firetruck, or in a boat, the laughs keep coming and they will all the way to Margaritaville where they plan to retire.

Austin Llewellyn

Groomsman

Austin is the friend that will always make you laugh. Austin and Mikey share a love of ice cream, playing outside, and all things orange. The bond between these two remains especially strong, even as one currently conquers elementary school and the other is planning his 401k. Mikey can't imagine this big day without sharing some good belly laughs and all the dessert with Austin by his side.

Jen Pignone

Groomswoman

That best friend you may not see for weeks, but never go 24 hours without talking to one another. Whether it's sharing food posts on social media, complaining about life together, or a midnight text saying "I'm hungry", their lives are always connected. Beyond their shared passion for eating, Jen will always have your back and share a laugh. Especially when running a mini-mudder, she will keep you laughing the whole way. Jen is a friend everyone needs.

Tom Mertens

Groomsman

A friendship based on a love of firetrucks, bonfires, and hard ciders (not necessarily at the same time...usually). Because the two were regularly seen side by side in town when Tom flew the coop and moved down South, Mikey would say he was flying down to visit his partner, many locals would think he was visiting Tom, not Mallory. Well, they weren't always wrong. Luckily, the two lived within driving distance and shared a fondness of good BBQ.

James + Paul Nelson

Little People Squad

At risk of stealing the bride's thunder for cuteness, this dapper duo steals everyone's hearts as Mikey's nephews, and loves their "Aunt Merrily". That was the real test to enter the family, and we're glad Mallory passed with flying colors. Now, we hope these two can make it down the aisle before bursting into laughter and running to find the fish pond nearby!

Sophie Scully

Groomswoman

Mikey and Sophie are complete opposites. One patient, meticulous, and grown-up. The other irrational, fast-paced, and forever young at heart. But growing up together as brother and sister, there is no stronger love than between the two. Mikey's grateful to have an older sister, although she may look younger, to have paved the way from honor roll to parenthood and to stand by his side on this special day.
