Finally, as far as transportation to/from the venue goes, and if you plan on drinking (which we hope you do considering it's open bar!!) we ask that you please, please, please don't drink and drive. We love all of you and want you safe. The venue will seem secluded, but it's really not. Ubers, Lyfts, taxis, etc. can easily find it. For your safety and the safety of others, plan on using one of those methods of transportation if you are going to drink a lot.

Days Inn at the Coast Oceanside

This Days Inn is owned by the Wyndham. It's a no bells and whistles type of place, but it's clean, includes free breakfast, has a pool, and is very affordable. It's also located very close to Legoland and is only a short walk to the marina and beach. Some rooms even have an ocean view!

Beachfront Only Oceanside Vacation Rentals

This is a great resource to find vacation rentals in Oceanside especially if you want to travel with a large group. There are some places that sleep up to 60 people and are on the ocean!

San Diego Airport

The San Diego airport is located about 45 miles from Paradise Falls and about an hour drive. Depending on the day/time of arrival, traffic could make the trip time longer, but hey, the freeway is next to the ocean and has palm trees to look at, so it's not that bad.

John Wayne Airport Orange County

The John Wayne Airport is located in Orange County and is about 60 miles from Paradise Falls. The drive time is about 10 minutes longer than the drive from the San Diego airport. So, depending on which cost of airfare, either airport is a good choice to fly in and out of.

All of the rental car companies serving the San Diego airport are consolidated into one area. There is also a free shuttle to the car rental area, so it makes it easy for travelers.

The rental car counters are located near the arrivals on the lower level between Terminals A and B. (I'm sure there are signs to follow!)

Why You Need A Car

San Diego is a big city but lacks in public transportation. Even though there are buses, trolleys, trains and of course Uber/Lyft, it is much easier to have your own car while here. (Especially if you are traveling with children). However, if you would rather not rent a car and need help with planning your trip using other means of transportation, please don't hesitate to reach out to us for help!
