WHAT’S THE DRESS CODE?

Garden Party Attire! We want you to have fun on our big day so please make sure you dress the part – be pretty AND comfortable. Ladies, there will be grass so fancy flats, chunky heels, or wonderful wedges are fine. Gents, a jacket and tie would be lovely, but please feel free to take them off after the formalities. For the love of God don't show up in shorts or jeans, this is a DRIVE IN MOVIE THEATER, show some respect.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts on the dot at 6:00pm, so try to arrive around 5:30pm. We'll have iced tea and lawn games for early birds.

So, it's at a drive in theater. Are we watching a movie or something?

Answer

No! It's a normal wedding: ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner & dancing. There's just ALSO this giant screen that will be playing lots of fun stuff when it gets dark. The entire night will be outside, so definitely check weather and dress accordingly! Umbrella, sweater, whatever!

IS THERE TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE HOTELS TO THE CEREMONY?

We will provide transportation to and from the Residence Inn and Courtyard Marriott in Poughkeepsie and the Cottonwood motel. When should I RSVP by?

Answer

If you are RSVPing by mail, please send the RSVP postcard by March 2. If you are RSVPing online, submit your response by March 16. Early response is encouraged!

Are kids invited?

This wedding is rated NC-17 (nudity, strong language), so it's best to leave the kids at home!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unless your invitation included "and Guest," please don't show up with a date! We will not be able to feed them.
