Question

What can you tell us about travel to St Lucia?

Answer

Closer to the wedding we will send out everything you need to know about traveling, such as how to get to the hotel from the airport, outlet adapters, bug spray, and more. For those that get car sick, there is an option to take a water ferry from the airport to the resort. More to follow...

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Stonefield Resort does not allow children under 17.

Question

How close together are the ceremony and reception venues and what is the best way to travel between them (walking, you set up a bus between them, they should drive, etc)?

Answer

They are held at the same resort!

Question

What shoes are appropriate (eg. Avoiding tall and/or thin heels on grass)?

Answer

The wedding will be held in an area with pavers, not on a beach or grass.

Question

What are some other things to do in the area if people have an extra day to kill before or after (hiking, beaches, Disneyland)?

Answer

Brie can help you book excursions, St Lucia has plenty of hikes, beaches, and activities to fill your day. Or, you can stay at the resort and relax!

Question

What is weather typically like at the venue this time of year?

Answer

The temperature averages in the mid 80's.

Question

Are there other wedding-related events to know about (a welcome party, a day-after breakfast, etc)?

Answer

We will have more information regarding wedding activities closer to the event.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire, but remember, we’ll be in the jungle! So ladies, feel free to break out the bright colors and big prints! Gentlemen, lightweight suits are great, and if you’ve been wanting to try a fun color, now’s your chance! Our wedding colors are tropical yellow, pink, orange, and dark green.

Question

What are your wedding colors?

Answer

Our bridal party will be wearing a mix of dark green, yellow, pink and orange, for a tropical theme. Please wear whatever color you would like! The group is small and we are not concerned with those who may choose attire in our "wedding colors", especially since we went with such a wide variety.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The Bride and Groom will be offering an open bar during the cocktail hour and dinner with a variety of options: Vodka (Greygoose) , Gin (Bombay Sapphire), whisky (Jack Daniels original, Jameson), Rum (Bacardi), Tequila White, Red (Pinot Noir) and White Wine (Sauvignon Blanc), Beers (Piton, Heineken) sodas (Tonic water, ginger ale) and soft drinks (coke, sprite, orange juice, cranberry juice), bottled water.

Question

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please let us know as soon as possible, so we can ensure a dinner option is available to you.
