About 15-20 minutes from Saugerties. The 1969 Woodstock Music Festival is named after the town of Woodstock. The town was known to be a hub for artists and musicians. Tinker Street is the heart of Woodstock’s charming downtown, full of artisan shops, vintage finds, cafés, and a laid-back, artsy vibe.

There's lots to do in downtown Saugerties, if you're looking to stay more local. Plenty of restaurants, cafes, and shops. Visit the Saugerties Farmers Market on Saturday morning from 10am-2pm.
