What should I bring?

Answer

Bathing suits, flip flops, sunglasses, sunscreen and a happy face. If you are boating you probably want to bring snorkeling gear. Much of the island takes cash and little of the island takes AMX.

What is the wedding attire?

Answer

Think Lilly meets Tommy Bahama. Beach/cocktail. No shorts please. The reception is outside and is in June so you may want to stay away from jackets, long sleeves and silk.

Is the island safe?

Answer

Yes, the island is safe. I don’t recommend venturing outside of resort world too late if you don’t know the area but other than that you should be good. Resorts World is a gated community with bars and a casino so you don’t need to travel too far.

When should you come?

Answer

The only official invitations are for Friday night and Saturday night. However, we plan on arranging a golf cart tour/bar crawl/ get to know the island day on Thursday for those who will be there. You will be given an itinerary with your welcome bags. On Sunday, there will be a casual brunch

Can I use my cell phone?

Answer

Yes, you can. If you have AT&T or Verizon, it’s $10 a day to add an international plan and that covers data too. Don’t forget to add a “1” before calling anyone. For instance, if you want to call Jenny you should dial 1 561 212 6663

Are kids invited to the wedding and welcoming party?

Sure! If you want to brave the seas and bring your children, the world is your oyster. Just please let us know so we can feed them properly :)

Do I need to take a covid test to come to the Bahamas?

Answer

If you are vaccinated, no. If you are not, yes. You have to have a negative covid test within five days of travel.
