Bradley Estate

About the Bradley Estate:
In 1902, Dr. Arthur Tracey Cabot hired architect Charles Platt to design a country house, landscaped grounds, and a complex of farm and estate buildings. In 1945, Cabot’s niece, Eleanor Cabot Bradley, acquired the property. A skilled horticulturalist, she and her husband Ralph Bradley added ponds, a camellia house and greenhouse, and planted specimen trees.
The property also includes more than 60 acres of meadows and woods, with some 3 miles of walking trails. The property was acquired by the Massachusetts Trustees of Reservations through a bequest of Eleanor Cabot Bradley in 1991.
