Passport Reminder

If you’re traveling internationally, please take a moment to check your passport expiration date. Many countries require that passports be valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates, and airlines may not allow boarding if it’s close to expiring. If your passport is nearing expiration, we recommend renewing prior to the trip!

Flight

Taoyuan International Airport

The best airport to fly into is TPE (Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport). This is the main international airport serving Taipei. From the airport, you can reach the city by: Taxi: This is the easiest option and it's about 40–60 minutes depending on traffic. The cost is around $40-50 and you may use cash, credit card, or Apple Pay. Uber is also widely available and can be paid directly through the app. Airport MRT: This is a fast and budget-friendly option (around 35 minutes to Taipei Main Station). From Taipei Main Station, you can take a short taxi or Uber to your hotel. To purchase a MRT ticket, you may use credit card at ticket machines, cash (TWD), or an EasyCard (reloadable transit card that can also be used for buses, metro, and convenience stores) We recommend taking a taxi if you have luggage, or the MRT if you prefer a budget-friendly option.
