Does your invitation include a +1? If not, then we have not prepared for you to bring a date and would not have appropriate accommodations for them. Therefore, we ask that you only bring yourself. If your invitation does note a +1, then you are welcome to bring your significant other if you would like.
Yes, there is a gravel parking lot at the venue and overflow parking if need be, although we do not anticipate that we will need to use it. Valet parking will also be available. The ceremony and reception are at the same location so no need to worry, there. We HIGHLY recommend having a DD for after the celebrations as the road to the venue is dark and wind-y!!!
No, we will not be providing transportation to and from the hotels. Rideshare opportunities may be limited, as well, due to the relatively remote location of the venue. PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND WHEN CONSIDERING HOW HARD YOU'RE WILLING TO PARTY!
Please RSVP by March 15th, at the very latest. We apologize for the quick turn around, we do fully acknowledge our faults in this department!
We would suggest getting to the venue around 30 minutes prior to the ceremony. The ceremony will begin at 5pm, so 4:30 would be a good goal as there is a bit of walk out to the ceremony area…
We suggest going for a cocktail attire level of dress. Girls--a nice dress that's not too casual not too dressy, that cute jumpsuit, but maybe stay away from the stilettos since the ceremony will be on soft ground. Guys--slacks, a button-up, tie or no tie we don't judge. The Cookie Monster PJ pants should probably stay at home....
Actually, BOTH of us are taking new names for this occasion! Michael is legally changing his full name to Michael Phipps Banfi, and Abby is taking the Banfi name, making her Abigail Renee Banfi.
