WOW - Wedding on White

Wedding on White is an optional, self-guided tour of downtown Wake Forest - explore the shops & restaurants along White St and beyond. Stop by one or more of four planned 1 to 1.5 hour stops to enjoy a quick visit with other wedding guests while we await the big day! Stop 1: Shorty’s Famous Hot Dogs/White Street Brewing 214 & 218 South White St. Shorty’s is an iconic stop in downtown WF for over 100 years. Grab some grub and head to White Street Brewing, open since 2012 with a brewery collection sold across NC. Stop 2: Unwined on White 153 South White St. Serving up wine, beer and yoga in this fun two-story building - Join us on the rooftop for a cold beverage and fantastic views across WF! Stop 3: Norse Brewing 203 South Brooks St - featuring craft beer and a full bar plus Scandinavian inspired dishes with a southern twist. Norse was the site of Michael & Abby’s surprise engagement party! Stop 4: Strike & Barrel 413 South Brooks - fun filled destination with food, games & drinks!

Our Ceremony
5:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks. The bride requests that guests please avoid white or black dresses.
The ceremony will be held outside on grass or other soft ground (so, maybe rethink the stilettos...).
Cocktail Hour
5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Hors d'ours will be provided and the bar will open up at this time.
Reception
6:30 pm - 10:30 pm
Served at about 7pm, dinner will be a City BBQ buffet of pork or chicken with sides of smashed potatoes, green beans with bacon, salad, and mac & cheese complete with a topping station. Alcohol will continue to be served until 9:30pm. Oh--and cupcakes, of course! Bring your dancin' shoes, people--we expect to see everyone take a trip to the dance floor!
