Minnesota State Fair

Labor Day Weekend is usually the last weekend of the fair. Tickets are about $15-20 each and trying to find parking will suck but it's worth it for the great Minnesota get together! Definitely search out the bucket of cookies and try the cheese curds! Pet some farm animals, look at some stuff, and bump into people. 2021 FAIR IS NOT CANCELLED! Bring a mask and some hand sanitizer

Renaissance Festival

About 50 minutes from he hotel in Blaine. Theme of the weekend is Wine, Chocolate & Romance! How fitting!

Invictus Brewing Company & The Tipsy Steer

CLOSE TO HOTEL! Check out a local brewery and get your drink on. The Tipsy Steer is a connected restaurant (because most breweries in MN can't serve food) has pizza, burgers, and tacos.

Como Park Zoo & Conservatory

Free trip to the zoo plus an amazing greenhouse! There's also an amusement park for kids!

Mall of America®

...because why not go to a huge mall and shop. there's 520 stores to visit. You'll totally get your steroids in for the day. Plus this is your chance to go to the Nickelodeon Universe. That's right, this mall is so big there is an amusement park inside it (next to the food court) if that wasn't enough shopping for you, IKEA is located right next door!

SEA LIFE at Mall of America

An aquarium in the basement of a mall? Trust me it's way better than you think. The under water tunnel is the coolest walk you'll ever take.

Keg and Case Market

We love this place! Lots of interesting booths and foods to try with a brewery on-site. Close to some antique shops too!

Cathedral of Saint Paul

Religious or not this building is worth stepping inside and free to visit!

Minneapolis Institute of Art

FREE ART MUSEUM! Has some amazing pieces.

Frederick R. Weisman Art Museum

Literally worth the visit just to see this amazing building in person. Architecture by Frank Gehry is truly a spectacular thing. Admission is FREE!!

Walker Art Center

Museum costs money to visit but the iconic sculpture park is free! The spoon and cherry live here.

Explore Duluth, MN

Did you have car for this trip? If so then this 2 hour drive is worth it for the chance to explore a classic MN getaway. This is where Bob Dylan is from and the main attraction is Lake Superior, but tucked away in the adorable downtown area are amazing coffee shops, antique stores galore, and quaint shopping.

Explore Stillwater, MN

Have a car? Then this 45 minute drive gets you to this quaint downtown area right on the St. Croix river. Amazing restaurants and fun shops line the streets. Notable stops include: The Antique Mall, Leo's Malt Shop, and Nachos Mamas Mexican restaurant! Don't take our word for it, explore it yourself!
