Labor Day Weekend is usually the last weekend of the fair. Tickets are about $15-20 each and trying to find parking will suck but it's worth it for the great Minnesota get together! Definitely search out the bucket of cookies and try the cheese curds! Pet some farm animals, look at some stuff, and bump into people. 2021 FAIR IS NOT CANCELLED! Bring a mask and some hand sanitizer
...because why not go to a huge mall and shop. there's 520 stores to visit. You'll totally get your steroids in for the day. Plus this is your chance to go to the Nickelodeon Universe. That's right, this mall is so big there is an amusement park inside it (next to the food court) if that wasn't enough shopping for you, IKEA is located right next door!
Formerly known as Lake Calhoun, this lake is in the middle of Minneapolis, located in the trendy Uptown neighborhood. It's close to shopping and restaurants. Take a swim, rent a boat, or take a 3 mile walk around it, Soak in some stunning views!

Did you have car for this trip? If so then this 2 hour drive is worth it for the chance to explore a classic MN getaway. This is where Bob Dylan is from and the main attraction is Lake Superior, but tucked away in the adorable downtown area are amazing coffee shops, antique stores galore, and quaint shopping.
