Miranda was Mikayla's very first best friend (That's what happens when your sisters). Despite only living together for 11 years, plus being six years apart in age, they share a treasure trove of inside jokes and a shared sense of dry humor—mostly rooted in SpongeBob references. Miranda and her husband, Ryan, were the first to know about Riley, and they even took everyone out to celebrate over dinner. Miranda always made her little sister feel safe to talk about anything, whether it was life's big challenges or just sharing cringy memes. Miranda has always been Mikayla's greatest inspiration, and Mikayla is deeply grateful that she never had to grow up as an only child. Watching each other navigate milestones like graduating college and evolving into the incredible people they've become has been one of the greatest joys of their lives.
Robbie
Best Man
From childhood adventures under the same roof to memories made at birthday parties growing up, Robbie has been there for Riley through so much. Riley feels gratitude to all the years of laughter, support, and friendship shared. Growing up, their bond was forged with a passion to stick together. Whether they were teaming up on XBOX to play WWE All Stars or having cannonball competitions in the pool, both brothers learned the true meaning of teamwork, friendship, and valuing family. Riley feels lucky to have him on this journey and for many more years to come.
Cooper
Man of Honor
Cooper and Mikayla became friends toward the end of high school, and the funny thing is—Cooper didn’t even like her at first. He thought she was annoying, actually. But seven years of friendship later, there’s quite literally nothing they wouldn’t do for each other. They share a love for going out to fancy places and live by the motto, “We may be poor, but we are not cheap!” Cooper even talked Mikayla into buying Gucci sunglasses she’s only worn once, solidifying his role as the enabler of the friend group. If Mikayla ever needed anything, Cooper was always ready to drop whatever he was doing to help. He’s a true gem—steadfastly supportive of not only Mikayla but also Riley, always showing up with love, humor, and loyalty. Their friendship is a testament to how people can grow into each other’s lives in the most unexpected and meaningful ways, and Mikayla couldn’t imagine life without him.
Reed

Getting to know Reed over the past few years has been such a joy. From the very first moment they met at UTSA it's felt like they've known each other forever. Every memory made with Reed is filled with joy, warmth, and comfortability. Whether sharing mellowed time together at apartment gatherings or embarking on outdoor adventures, his presence always brings happiness and ease for Riley whenever they're together. What makes Reed truly special in Riley's life is their kindness and unwavering support. He’s the kind of person who lifts others up and makes Riley want to be the best friend possible. From times of studying in the library to taking the first shot at 21, Riley wouldn't ask for their friendship any other way. Riley is grateful for Reed that they will be with him in this next step in life and looks forward to many more memories to come.
Lauren
Bridesmaid
Lauren and Mikayla have been inseparable since their high school days, building a strong and enduring friendship. Their bond grew even deeper when they began working together at 2Tarts Bakery in downtown New Braunfels. Some of their favorite pastimes included exploring plant nurseries, sipping coffee, and wandering through antique shops in search of quirky treasures. Above all, they shared a love for food, constantly on the lookout for new dining spots in nearby cities. True foodies at heart, they had a tradition of ordering completely different dishes so they could sample from each other’s plates. Lauren was always Mikayla’s rock, offering her unwavering support. Whether it was opening her home, serving a comforting hot meal, or sharing words of wisdom, Lauren had a knack for making things better. Most memorably, her sharp wit and dry humor never failed to bring light to even the toughest situations.
Daniel
Groomsman
Daniel has one of the kindest hearts Riley has had the pleasure of knowing. Their friendship started due to Daniel's partnership with Reed, but it's now grown into one of the most meaningful friendships of Riley's life. They quickly found commonality with love of anime and joy of vulnerability with one another. The laughter, the enriching conversations, and playful energy are just some of the aspects of their friendship you can expect when these two are together. Riley is grateful to have Daniel's positive and joyful energy on their wedding day. In a world that can feel overwhelmingly pessimistic, Riley can always count on Daniel make him smile when hanging out together. Riley will continue to treasure and build upon this friendship with Daniel now and from each day moving forward.
Gavin
Bridesman
Gavin and Mikayla met in 2016 during a church retreat and have been besties ever since. Mikayla was minding her own business and playing the Ukulele during her free time and Gavin came and sat beside her and was quiet until she was done. After finishing the song she was playing, Gavin was silent, then just started clapping very loudly and shouted, "Where have you been all my life?!"and hugged her! Given they were only 16, Mikayla had felt like she had known him for a lifetime! They spent the entire time together yapping for the rest of the retreat! (and yet somehow already made some inside jokes) Gavin has always made Mikayla feel like she was invincible and that there wasn't one thing she couldn't do. They pretty much grew up together, from church to working at the same place to visiting Italy! (the lake) She also helped Gavin move into his college dorm! If either of them had a problem, they would always call or text, and they both tried to help in any way they could. I'm pretty sure they would die for each other.
Jacob
Groomsman
Jacob and Riley first met through their workplace at the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts. When Riley first met Jacob, he felt like they could hit it off right away. They began to grow their friendship together through shared love of the Dallas Stars hockey team. Celebrating each win and grumbling with frustration after each playoff loss (Jacob always seems to have a sixth sense for how an NHL game is gonna go!) both have developed a strong bond. Riley enjoys coming to work and hanging out with Jacob outside of the office each week whenever possible. Jacob has over time has shown his kind heart and intelligent advice in their friendship. Riley is so grateful to Jacob for the time spent getting to know one another, and he is beyond ecstatic Jacob is going to be there to celebrate Riley's love for Mikayla.
