We're tying the knot!

Our first meeting has two beginnings. For Mack, it's standing with a USF coach, debating about becoming a practice player, and seeing a sweaty Mikayla running up and down the court -- most likely zoned in to avoid having to jump rope with heavy ropes. For Mik, it's finally having a tall practice player weeks later and them getting annoyed that they can't block her shot -- which may or may not have been an offensive foul, but the ref never called it.

The first move really goes to the basketball at the Chase Center and a lack of attention on Mack's part. But from this hard hit that could have been concussion level and the only practice player to respond in the coaches group chat, Mik reached out wondering about his health and thus made the first move. Mack disagrees and believes he made the first move by inviting Mik to the Science Museum by USF... followed by Mik paying for the first date (another story for another day) and Mack being flustered by needing to say the exact words of "Will you be my girlfriend?" before it was accepted and official.

A puppy and baby later, and everything is still a blur. Following basketball retirements and taking on office jobs, we aspire to both go remote and keep the travel portion alive <3

The wedding will be held at Carmel Fields (4860 Carmel Valley Rd, Carmel -By-The-Sea, CA). The accumulation of our (semi)hard work amounts to a 4 pm ceremony start through an after-party (same location) ending at 11 pm. For more details, check out the schedule and FAQ pages! <3
